SPCA — questions & answers

Where are SPCA shops in New Zealand?

SPCA runs 94 op shops across 16 regions of New Zealand. Use the store finder on this page to see every location grouped by region, or open the map to find the one nearest you.

Where does the money go?

SPCA New Zealand is a registered charity that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes animals in need. It operates over 90 Op Shops throughout New Zealand, selling donated clothing, accessories, homeware, kitchenware, linen, toys, furniture and pet items. Funds raised in the shops support SPCA's work helping animals who are sick, injured, abused or vulnerable.

What are SPCA opening hours?

Opening hours vary by store, so we keep them on each shop's own page rather than listing chain-wide times. Tap any store above to see its hours and whether it's open now.

Op Spot maps every op shop in New Zealand — SPCA and hundreds more — with what’s open now and what shoppers have spotted in store.
