Awesome experience! The customer service was amazing and they had so many amazing finds, all at relatively cheap prices! Would 100% recommend
A small but very jam packed op shop located very near the others just out of town. A good mix of clothes and household items along with an area for skiiing/outdoor activities. Clothes are arranged by type eg dresses, shorts etc and coloured tape on hangers help with sizing. Two changing rooms available to try clothes on. Only negative comment I had was to check pockets of clothing before putting them on the shop floor. I put my hand in the dress pocket right into a dirty tissue. Prices were ok not overly expensive I got a dress initially for $12 but was marked down to $10 as a rip on the seam was missed. Think prior 1 star ratings are unduly harsh.
I stopped in to look for a winter jacket and found one that was just what I needed. I took it up to the counter to pay for it and the lady serving made an astonished face when she checked the price. She said jackets like the one I picked were worth x amount in US dollars and asked if I wanted to make a donation. I was a bit dumbstruck because it felt like the I couldn’t just pay the price on the tag. It was awkward and I gave her extra and said to keep the change. It’s presumptuous to assume people don’t already donate, and inconsiderate to assume people op shopping have extra income to spare.
