I always love this SPCA shop- today there’s an abundance of coats, beanies and cool vases that I am sure someone will love to find!

A tidy SPCA shop that's easy to get around, with a sideline in collectables — china, silverplate and cabinet glassware — alongside the coats and clothing racks. Reviewers agree it's well organised with lovely staff, though a few find it dear; skip it for furniture or electrical. Cross the road to the Hospice shop and make Kumeū a double.

A medium-sized shop — about a tennis court — with a big selection of clothing, bric-a-brac and homewares. There always seem to be lots of beanies, and heaps of coats. It's well organised, the staff are really friendly, and there's always parking right outside.
Prices are pretty reasonable. Worth knowing before you make the trip: this isn't the place for furniture, electrical or sports gear — we've never seen them carry it. It's easier to find things here than at the Hospice shop over the road, though it carries a bit less stock — the two make a natural pair, so do both while you're out here.

High quality items, but a bit pricey and not really for families. No real toy or book section for children. Better suited for collectors, people who like tea cups, china, etc type items or are looking for clothing.

I visited yesterday and enquired about purchasing a Santa sack.. I was told it wasn't for sale (display item) but there was a similiar one available....I suggested they sell me the 1st one and put the similar one on display. Got a short sharp no. What are they saving it for? Next year? Petty and mean considering they are a charity raising money for vulnerable animals. Do better.

I stop by this store every single week. The staff are brilliant. Kind, helpful and it makes the experience great. The store is well laid out and easy to shop. The prices are average to good. I usually find a bargain and a treasure or two. I recently purchased my favourite bag, which was handmade by a volunteer and I get so many compliments!!!
