Salvos Stores Highgate

This store is very big spent a good hour in here and was surprised at the items I found, very good pricing and very clean store loved it

This is a beautifully set out opshop with plenty of space between sections so you don’t feel overwhelmed. Amazing staff who are helpful, friendly, approachable & knowledgeable. A special shout out to lovely Carla who always reminds me of new toys eg puppets that have been donated. Look out for their $2 clothes rack. I discovered a Fella Hamilton top plus a Sportscraft shirt each only $2. They arrange clothes by size plus books alphabetically: wonderful! If you have family or friends who are yet to try out op shops, take them here. I promise you that you will find some great clothes and other eclectic items eg stationery, crockery, linens, frames, small furniture, bags, shoes etc

Best place to shop! Everything is so organized and appropriately priced. There are a lot of varieties to choose from. Highly recommended!

Amazing staff, they perform their duties and work responsibilities in a professional manner whilst also showing compassion and care... I am currently in a homeless shelter, and needed some appropriate attire for court... I phoned and spoke to the staff and told them I couldn't afford to pay for it.they did not laugh at me, humiliate me, put me down or any such thing,neither on the phone nor in the store. They treated me with dignity and compassion, without embarrassing me or humiliating me,they kept my situation private and did not disclose my personal information Infront of any customers... My point is, they are wonderful people who are thoughtful of other people and know how to address sensitive situations with care and respect.. when my situation improves, I will support their cause and even volunteer my help. The store is also very clean and well organisedand offers a wide variety of products... Thank you crew from salvos store Highgate God bless 🌹🙏 ( I can't remember when I was last given that level of care from a retail giant , when I used to be better off and spending a lot of money... Will always check my local salvos first from now on)

For my size I didn’t think I’ll find anything tbh HOWEVER , sooooo stoked with this find. 2 pairs. Perfect fit. Sweeeeet Store is big. A/c. Biggest fitting rooms I’ve ever seen. No steps anywhere so wheelchair / stroller friendly. No car park but plenty of spaces to park on the street. Very friendly staff. Mainly girls stuff tho. 80% to 20% ratio I’d say.
