Prices are way too high for used items. Asking for $40 - $70 for a pair of shoes already worn by someone else is a joke. Too cramped, hardly any room too move around. Won't be returning to this store.
A bit pricey for a thrift but usually find some good things
Another great buy from the Salvos online! Portmans BNWT classic houndstooth jacket RRP $119.95 for only $29.50 + $7 postage.
I had a slow cooker to donate today. I called several thrift stores around Perth, but most of them did not want electronic appliances, saying it was too much work for them to take in things like that. Eventually, I called this store, and they were happy to take it. They placed several large red bins outside for people to drop in their donations, and their store is at a convenient location at the corner of Scarborough Beach Road and Buxton Street. For people taking public transport, it's just a few steps from a bus stop where both Routes 402 and 990 bus pass by. Inside the store, everything looks nice, clean and tidy, and the volunteers there are friendly and welcoming.
Staff are incredibly rude. We found a toy perfect for my niece and obviously she loved playing with it while we were browsing for goods. The store is small and not much options. Got to the counter to pay and the old lady was complaining that the noise is annoying to other customers? She obviously also has a hearing issue or just being racist because she kept getting annoyed that she couldn’t here what I said. We bought the toy but definitely unnecessary treatment. Do not recommend this place.
