Salvos Stores Subiaco

Probably wouldn’t go back again. It’s so small and despite having the $2 and 50% off offers, there was barely any stock to make it worth a visit. One half rack only of $2 items. Not much generally in terms of designer items and what they did have were between $13 and $18 upwards. 2nd visit: honestly, I go to op shops all around Perth every week and I think this is the worst. Tiny rack of $2 specials and generally just not enough stock on the shelves and racks. Theres room on all the racks for more. This store needs to be reconceptualised. It’s a waste of the good real estate position. Pictured is the $2 rack on two seperate days. There is also hardly any 50% off throughout the store and no dedicated rack for it like other salvos do.

Have found many lovely items! Many great clothes. Enjoy going there after school with my daughter. Such a great place. You never know what you might find!❤️

I cannot believe how rude one staff member was Sonya. I returned a “hydroflask” drink bottle to them because when I got it home I noticed the lettering was off. I could tell it was a fake hydroflask so tested it for lead (I am an environmental scientist). It tested positive. I told her this and she just stared at me like I’d personally insulted her. I said again it has lead and she just smirked at me. I finally said I want to confirm you won’t sell it as it’s dangerous and she replied that’s not up to me. I asked to speak to manager who was very gracious. I do this for a living. Lead kills, beware of this shop and their disregard for your health. Lots of pottery including plates, mugs etc (especially painted) contains lead. They are obviously not tested there. Photo shows the lettering is wrong (the a) Recommended investing in a lead kit if you regularly buy pottery and avoid fakes.

A magical building and a good selection of things. This place takes me back to the cubbies in Byron Bay or Pattie’s Vintage in Los Angeles. They have some good jewellery here and such a. Wide variety of shoes. I wisdom say for such a small shop they do try to do everything and I think they’d be better off doing less things but do them well. Because it had a little of a hard sale cluttered vibe to parts of it, but a part from that I thought it was genuinely darling.
