Ok, so this is the real op shop experience. Ticketed prices are expensive like other op shops but they have half price for one colour of tickets (this week was orange) and a $2 rack for another colour (this week, green). And the discounted items are on a dedicated discount rack and also dotted through the other shelves. So you actually get to do some bargain hunting. Every Monday the ticket discounts change over to different colours.
Unfortunately, had a very unpleasant experience here. My child started crying while I was looking at clothes, and instead of showing any understanding, the staff member pointed at the door, implying I should leave. When I came back to ask what he meant, he said my child was “too loud” and it irritated him. As a mother, I found this reaction rude and upsetting. Not a family-friendly attitude at all. I have been to this store more than once and this man is always very rude and unfriendly.
This is my go-to op shop for shoes! Large store with good choice of clothing, shoes, furniture and bric a brac. Have quite a lot of aesthetic clothes especially y2k style and interesting belts and bags to dig through too. Shop is always clean and staff are friendly.
Heard really good things about this store, found the sizing tricky to find. Didn't enjoy my experience. Wouldn't recommend going on the weekends, too busy, but glad it is next to and near other local op shops.
The customer service in this shop is appalling, I went to the counter and ask for the price of something I wanted to buy, the women at the counter was so patronising and got angry with my request that at the end I left the things there, she was at this point even more rude. Never coming to this place, or to any other Salvo shop. I rated this place with one star but zero star would be more appropriate.
