Uniting Op Shop Glenroy

My new found op shop…I’ve seen it before but never went in as I had an appointment across the road and I was in a hurry. I decided to go in the op shop the next time I had an appointment. Loved it! Prices are fair, the items were in good condition. I’m going to donate to them in my next visit.

Uniting Op Shop Glenroy is such a lovely little op shop and a hidden gem in the northern suburbs. The store has a small shop feel but still packs a great range of bargains, which makes every visit exciting and rewarding. I loved that they were running a “nothing over $5” promotion when I visited, with even more treasures on their $1 rack at the back, perfect for scooping up great deals on clothing, accessories and other pre loved items. There’s also a little selection of books to browse through, so it’s easy to find something fiction book to read, Browsing feels like a little treasure hunt, especially with bargains this good. The shop itself is cosy and welcoming, with friendly volunteers and a community vibe that makes it a pleasure to spend a bit of time in. Supporting this op shop means you’re also giving back to the local community and helping fund important Uniting services.

Everything is grouped by colour, including the books. I guess they don’t want to sell any books. I’m not about to read the spine of every book to see if it’s one I’m interested in.

This shop has had an upgrade and is set up well. There are bargains to be found and not overly expensive with the things that l was interested in. Debbie was friendly and helpful. Check it out it is definitely worth a visit😀
