Stopped by Vinnies Glenroy at 824a Pascoe Vale Road, Glenroy, and was pleasantly surprised by how much stock they had. It's a decent sized op shop with plenty of variety, making it easy to spend a good amount of time browsing. Parking around the corner and Salvos is also around the corner. There was a great range of clothing, shoes, handbags, books, homewares, kitchenware, furniture, costumes, electrical items, toys, and all sorts of second hand treasures. The clothing section was particularly well stocked, and there were plenty of shelves filled with interesting household items and unique finds. The store is spacious and easy to navigate, so it never felt cramped even with other shoppers around. I enjoyed having a proper look through everything, as there seemed to be something different around every corner. Prices were reasonable overall and there were definitely some bargains to be found if you're willing to spend a bit of time treasure hunting.
This one is my local store and it's my favourites staff are great prices are good and always enjoy shopping
Vinnies Ascot Vale is good. it just depends on what has come in .Plus, whatever gets put out the next day .There's always something different. The only problem is prices have really gone up .It is supposed to be a charity, after all .Sometimes, it's cheaper to go to Kmart .I got told last week that they've got too many books ,(I only brought down 2 books as a donation ).If they have too many, put them down cheaper .Let me know how you feel about it as well .
I bought a pair of shoes today and when I got home to clean them I found a price tag underneath the current sticker FOR $3! I paid $8. I’ve never seen a price INCREASE sticker at an op shop, someone please make it make sense. I paid $32.50 (purchased another pair of shoes, men’s shorts and 2x female leggings), prices were pretty standard for Vinnies op shops. Not too much price jacking, other than the shoes I bought☹️
Very good shop and helps people to buy & sell used clothes, household items and much more at reasonable prices. Must visit. They have very good collection
