Probably the most expensive op shop in the area but the cause is good and you can see them in action. I didn’t feel particularly safe shopping there alone…

If you love op shops, you've got to pop into the Salvation Army in Goodna! Check them out and grab a bargain. Lovely staff and a great range—don't miss it!

Pre COVID when the Salvo's ran, 'The Meeting Place', cafe it was a great place to meet with friends. Today the cafe is no longer normal everyday cafe, the cash register makes no sound any more; instead you will hear the clanking of billiards balls and laughter. Now you can catch up with your friends, play a game or two, or maybe experiment with your creative side. If you just want to chill you may find yourself enjoying the musically talented, as a guitar or harmonica is played. There cafe now provides bread and meals to those in need, as well as self serve coffee or tea. If you come at the right time you may enjoy a cappuccino or latte, of the machine is running. One thing is clear everyone who walks through the door is valued and appreciated. Stay happy

Salvation Army Opshop Goodna has relocated back to the head quarters where it existed many years ago beside the 'Meeting Place Cafe'. Good parking and if your struggling the cafe usually has free bread to hand out to the community. It's clean and well organised but super small and cramped compared to the last venue and doesn't offer furniture like it used to when it was last located here. It's not a rummaging opshop for creative's but the electrical section is excellent and everything is nicely displayed. The stock is average and mainstream not much quirk, unusual or collectible. The handy thing is that Lifeline Goodna is across the road so you can walk from one shop to the other and get the best of both in one hit without moving your car. Overall the staff are great, particularly one beautiful brown woman who is the kindest friendliest person in the whole place and has the laughter of a sunny day😉
