Salvos Stores Bundamba

I love frequenting Ipswich op-shops, and I heard great things about this one, but in my experience it is nothing special. I haven't bought anything any of the times I've been, and it has gone to the bottom of my list of stores to visit.

Great big shop! Enjoyed shopping there today. However, I did ask if Jessica could knock $2 off an old electrical item that looked like it had come with Noah and his ark. But the answer was 'no'. 😔 William Booth would have have said yes. I didn't buy it.

People bringing bottles and cans through while you are shopping is a bit rough. Surely that have other entrances for this. Also not much Mens clothes.

What can I say, always top stars for opp shops! Fair prices, good service.

This is by far one of the best opshops in Ipswich! The furniture prices are the best and it has a high turnover so there's new stock constantly. At the back is a recycle centre for cans and bottles. Not only clothes and household items but plants and gardening supplies. It's one of 'those' opshops where you can have a good rummage especially if you are creative or a maker like I am looking to upcycle or recycle great vintage finds. My last experience was tainted by a very sour young woman on the Saturday counter. I cannot specify enough that you need to have good customer service and manners even if you are an unpaid volunteer because people don't forget you're behaviour.
