Friday May 28th, 2026 Went to purchase a piece of clothing, unaware of the price and was shocked to realise they’re charging more than $40 for a hand me down jacket. When it came as a surprise, the disabled old lady working on the desk says “if you’re going to be aggressive I’m not serving you.” Hahaha I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Will never be returning to this facility, I hope proper management is underway for this Vinnies and that staff are reevaluated on their customer service skills or should probably retire.

One of the worst op shops in the area, the prices are ridiculous! My jaw genuinely drops $30-$50 for cheap brand dresses, and if it’s leather! No matter the condition you’re talking $50+, don’t get me started on shoes! Seems the more worn the more they charge 🤢

Price gouging at its finest. Op shops are supposed to be a way to support charities, reduce waste, be sustainable and get a good deal. Go support a local op shop instead, Burleigh Church op shop is far better & not out for a profit like Vinnies!!

Feel Sorry for the people that used to be able to clothe their families and now cheaper to shop at Kmart than An op shop where clothing is donated in bulk for those who are low income earners . $12-$20 for shabby looking well worn Singlets . Quite sad it’s become this way

Haven’t shopped at Vinnies for some time as pricing is outrageous but popped in today to kill time. Gobsmacked is an understatement. The $80 bag pictured was a no brand not even a name on the inside , small , used and donated … $80 . When I asked why .. cos the inside lining was leather. Shame on u price gouging greedy scammers. How dare u sell used men’s Jackets for $100. Who’s running this place needs firing !!!
