Salvos Stores Southern River

Definitely an overpriced op shop, & workers are not interested in negotiating. Some items like the frozen scooter I saw today was priced at $50, but they’re only $30 brand new at target. Very cluttered, definitely needs a clean & a revamp to make it feel more organised.

Unable to accept donation because the store is so full of crap because everything is totally overpriced! These are donations given by people for FREE to be resold at $2 or $3 or max $4…. Not at $13 or $15!! It’s insane and completely hypocritical. Good luck you capitalists.

So disorganised ! Looks like a mess ! Staff are rude and follow kids around taking thumbs off them and asking if they are buying that ! I have seen on multiple occasions a staff member Dianne behaving very rudely and short with customers and even changes the prices of things depending on who she likes and doesn’t. Change staff please to make it a welcoming place to shop and to get some organisation in there.The prices also are pretty ridiculous! $40 for a $50 dress originally. Seriously! Nor tay that’s very rude to say disregard someone’s commmet. How do you know other peoples experience in the store.

Staff are nice, but the store is overstocked, and I can tell it's because of the overpriced items! There were so many items I would have happily purchased for my family or my home, and I walked out with nothing. If the manager priced better, the stock and their Sales targets would be better met. Reprice will make a huge difference.

Store has a good range , but shelves are so jam packed it’s hard to navigate. I expect this is a result of the ridiculous prices, saw many Kmart / Red Dot type items that were more expensive than buying brand new . Quite surprised this store is still in business due to pricing
