Usually this is my favourite thrift store but staff need to be reminded that it’s a charity store, not an antique shop. Prices and the range of items are generally great however, today (whilst purchasing other things). I saw a box of items that I would purchase and these x6 items happened to be unproved. I adored the items and kindly found a worker and enquired as to whether the items could be priced by the manager and subject to the price, I’d take all the items. That employee was so kind and carried the box to the manager at the counter and immediately a manager very rudely looked at me rudely. She said “no they haven’t been priced”. I told them I was happy to wait and would pay quite a lot to take the box but with a rude expression said “no not for sale and I told staff to take them off the store floor”. This could have been handled so differently and if they really wanted to earn for charitable purposes, they could have taken my name and said that once priced, they can let me know and I can maybe collect them then. So rude and inconsiderate.

I brought several items to donate, many of them brand new, unused, and still with price tags on. I had originally purchased them but never used them, and instead of selling them, I chose to donate them so someone else could benefit. While I was unloading the items, a staff member suddenly yelled at me, telling me not to leave them there. I understand that there may be specific rules about where donations should be placed, but yelling at someone who is trying to contribute is not acceptable. People donate out of goodwill — especially when they could easily sell new items online. A little respect and basic courtesy would make a big difference. This experience was disappointing.

I don’t usually do reviews for thrift stores because I know they’re doing charity work but this is the worst thrift store Ive ever been. Staff was rude to me just because I made a small mistake. Looking at a rack that they said wasn’t ready to be accessed in the public, is that what’s storage room is for and if a customer who had no idea that they made a mistake wouldnt you ask then with a kind tone? the place is just pure mess literally. A stressful environment to shop.

I love the people that work here they so nice! But today - october 2025- there was a new lady serving people - with long blonde hair- she did her job ok but she hasnt got very nice people skills for the people that come there for a shop- she was very unfriendly to the usual staff member that is always lovely to everyone- i hope she doeant stay… ☹️
