The shop itself (whilst quite small) is very often peppered with absolute gems, absolutely worth visiting if in the vicinity. The staff are also friendly and polite, however empirically in urgent need of further training. I procured, at a ridiculous price, a box set of an „antique” (1976) VHS trilogy which they housed in a locked cabinet - upon removing it from the very poorly vacuum-seal they had confined the precious item in, I found a price stamp on 5 sides of the box set and also on all 6 sides of each of the VHS tapes. Removing these was impossible without chemical means and in any circumstance would render this precious product worthless. Why? 5 visible price stickers on the case is excessive and responsible for the destruction of the case (irrespective of the means one may chose to remove them, the case shall be destroyed) and 6 tags on each of the 3 VHS tapes is superfluous - again resulting in destruction of a vintage item. Why? Please visit this store as it does carry high quality items and is always worth a look. It is imperative that one inspects their procurement with vigilance.

Ridiculous pricing for second hand items. Do not go here thinking you'll get a bargain, they price most of their things almost the same as retail price. $50 handbags, and it supposed to be a store that help people in need. Yikes.

I visited this store today with friends and had a very disappointing experience. A staff member (Dina) made inappropriate and disrespectful comments about us simply for asking the price of an item. The bag in question was labeled in a foreign currency and translated to around $5.20, yet the store was charging $20 and claiming it was worth $80. After researching, we found it was a knock-off, not an original. This kind of misleading pricing and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. I would advise others to shop elsewhere

Went to vinnies Salisbury today purchased around $50 on clothes that were reasonably priced but great condition .the better the brand the more you pay but always left the store very happy with i got . I have been visting the store every Thursday for over 3 years. I have always been extra polite to the staff as they are all polite to me . Won't mention her name but really really old lady with little boy haircut was so rude to me I could not believe it as we have always got a long great. She was that rude to me today i was speechless . im contemplating ever going back there again . Sad though as its great little shop with great items .

Brought a gift for my great nefew,it was ladled complete $10,get it home,removed the tape to give it a clean,it would cost me more to return it,I always recommend st vinnies,but after today,salvos here I come. I won't even donate to St vinnies ever again. False advertising at its best
