Not the one to bother with. The prices are creeping and creeping up. They moved all the toys to eye level, which is so not inclusive to kids. The change rooms are a pain, because for some reason you need to ask for the door to be unlocked. It's good for baby clothes which have a set and low price. But the toddler clothing range is small and the adult clothes are pricey. Still better than fast fashion, but it would be nice if the store could address some of the issues that make this location last on my hit list.
A small store but lots of great items to be found at this local op shop.
Great little Vinnies in Phillip. It's well laid out considering how many shelves, stands and racks they have. Loads of bric-a-brac, kitchen ware, jewellery and accessories. The clothing was plentiful with sections of upscale and designer outfits plus some blasts from the past (1970s-80s etc) so fancy dress is easy. Around the corner down the back are books, records, frames and children's clothing plus haberdashery and linen. It's easy to spend at least an hour browsing and if you need the loo halfway round, the public toilets are up the path and in Colby Court's small greenspace. I am well pleased with my purchases today and it was the first time in a long time that I was asked if I had concessions of any kind! Lovely man! He was kind, wrapped my things while I continued looking and seemed to be really enjoying his job Great experience! The whole Vinnies chain is pretty good on average as are the Salvos' staff. I just lit the candle and it smells amazing! This kitty is the first feline to grace my doorstep; it was the plethora of butterflies which I just could not pass up! It's also useful because it's a money box. The plug was missing but I just inverted one of my bottle tops and it was a firm, neat fit! I wash and save every top because they have so many uses outside keeping liquid in a bottle! Happy treasure hunting peoples!
