The worship is heartfelt, and everyone is treated with kindness and respect, making it a place where people truly feel at home. One of the highlights of the church is the pastor. He has a wonderful way of connecting with people through both wisdom and humor. His sermons are not only meaningful and encouraging, but also genuinely funny and engaging. He knows how to make people laugh while still delivering powerful messages that stay with you throughout the week. His personality brings warmth and joy to the church, making every service something to look forward to. Whether you’re new to church or have been attending for years, Calvary Chapel creates a peaceful, friendly environment where you can grow spiritually, build relationships, and leave feeling encouraged and inspired.
Calvary Chapel Canberra Pentecostal is a Christ Cantered and deeply rooted Bible based church. A very multicultural church and community in Oneness of the True Messiah JESUS CHRIST our Lord and Saviour. Indeed, not just a church truly a family. From our Bishop, Pastor, Leaders and our hospitality ministry are welcoming and accommodating. All the ministries are very well organised with lovely and supportive facilitators and volunteers involved. Come along and find out how this church helps people walk by faith and found wholeness everyday.
Calvary Chapel in Chifley has been my home church for years and I haven’t met any community more warm, welcoming and supportive than Calvary Chapel. From the word that is preached on Sundays to the amazing greeters you are always shown the love of Christ and just absolutely love the sense of community. I’ve made long lasting friendships that will last a lifetime and have mentors that help me grow and pursue things greater for me. I highly recommend visiting Calvary Chapel and see for yourself not only the amazing presence of Christ but to experience the love and support that comes from being within a community who truly care for those in all stages of life. In 2013, while I was exploring different church communities, a neighbor invited me to Calvary Chapel. From my very first visit, I felt welcomed and committed to becoming part of the congregation. The teachings of the Word of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit create a truly enriching environment. Calvary Chapel is more than just a church; it is a supportive family. Children are provided with Sunday School programs where they are taught foundational principles from a young age. If you are considering joining a church, I highly recommend Calvary Chapel.
Calvary Chapel is an amazing church! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. It is not just a church but a family! My favorite part of the service is the worship and the preachings. This church made me feel welcome as my family and I arrived to Canberra and introduced me to so many good people and friends!
