Dark and dingy. It has just recently had a management change (mid 2025) so hopefully that will change. If the quality of the items that are in the shop are not great and the stock doesn’t get changed over, probably not a great idea to price so highly. I inquired about a pair of earrings in the glass cabinet, and my eyeballs almost imploded with shock. Yep $20. I’ve worked with and sold fine jewellery over my life and I could see when I handled them they were costume, unbranded, no hallmarks, just Kmart quality. I asked why they were $20, the manager told me ‘they’re not stamped by I think they’re gold’. That’s just plain terrible as customers trust you have had them checked.
Neat little store but not much happening stock wise here.
Cute little op shop, prices are high almost retail prices for some clothing, prices are much better at the grovedale and breakwater lifeline stores.
I think this opshop has forgotten that it got its clothes for free. $4.00 for obviously used condition children’s clothing is a bit of a joke. Won’t be back. Wouldn’t recommend.
Big hearts in a small store with a good range of stock. I came here looking for a Richard Bachman book and came away with a Mills & Boon (modern; the lady said the vintage ones go to Grovedale). I nilly grabbed a sweet as brown jacket coat for $25 but decided I was OK without, so tempting tho.
