I am impressed with this store, as the clothing is of exceptional quality and very clean, so I don't mind paying alittle more. I do wish they would improve their organisation, regarding Sunday opening times, as it is inconsistent, sometimes, resulting in a crowded of people waiting outside with no staff in attendance.
Product wise this store heavily favors clothing. There are a couple of rooms with crockery/homewares but the majority of the floor space is clothes. Pricing seemed to be a bit high. I dont buy clothes alot at op shop, prefer books and dvds, but I did find a shirt or two i liked but not for $8 each. The few other items i was interested in were also higher priced than what I would want to pay so... I left. Parking in side streets is tricky on the weekends.
It's a nice shop that I often visit, theres just a lot of overpriced items. There was a top I wanted even though it had a snag on the chest area but put it back when I saw it was $20.. Also some of the things in the display case, prices are just ridiculous. This picture is from October. EB games sell these for less.
Wonderful Vinnies, with a higher standard for quality than most other second hand stores I’ve visited. The staff were lovely, very accommodating of my gorgeous little Tibetan Spaniel, and easily to converse with. There was an excellent selection of higher end clothing priced reasonably and fairly, and all shoes happened to be 50% off when I visited. I paid $150 for about $1000 worth of clothing, whilst saving clothes from going to landfill. By supporting Vinnies, my money is donated to Vincent De Paul, a charity I greatly respect. I would highly recommend this Vinnies to anyone who cares about world issues and the quality of their clothing.
I like browsing here on a regular basis. I'm anti- fast fashion and prefer to buy second hand to avoid increasing the amount of textile waste that is building up globally. I've had some great finds and I like telling my friends when they compliment me that I bought it at an op shop. The store is well organised and the window display is always eye catching. Thankyou to the volunteers who work here! Street parking is hard to find during the week but if you are dropping off things, they allow people to drive into the driveway at the back for a few seconds. The store is opposite Eagle Junction train station.
