Vinnies over prices the goods. Welcomed by pleasant man as soon as I entered. The store layout for clothes is horrendous. There is a section for shirts, dresses etc but you need to look at every item for sizing. If you are size 6 to 12, there’s stock. Plus sizes are rare. Prices vary from $12 to a $20 from what I saw today. The clothing can be name brands rather than kmart or shein quality. Shoes are well over priced and none that special. Loads of Manchester, books and crockery. Mens section- sorry I didn’t look much. Overall it’s not a store I will visit often- if they have stock in my size, it would be like finding a needle in a haystack. Plus for a second hand store, it’s pricey. Too pricey. Parking is a nightmare around here. Council paid parking is hard to find. You need to get lucky for a spot.

I love Vinnies newstead. I think the price here is so fair and much cheaper than many lifeline. The quality of the clothes here is awesome you get top brand all the time and high quality because people in this area donate on a regular basis. It’s just a matter of finding it in all the racks. I go here on a weekly basis and donate and always find a few back. I found this amazing dress that fits perfectly and the heels here less than $50 dollars for a wedding. And beige dress from witchery and boots as well. Save me lots of money. Would definitely recommend 😇

The prices are ridiculous!! I use to volunteer at a different Vinnies. Staff don’t get paid anything only the manager, it’s all volunteers. They get all their merchandise for FREE. It’s supposed to be a charity shop to HELP people who can’t afford things. They are ripping off vulnerable people. You can get the items new for the same price on these items. There was a set of drinking glasses. $6 each! Not for the whole set. And $50 used ugly heels? $20 for a tiny glass decoration. Shame on you.

It's a large shop which is airy & light. Most of it is set out quite well. The kids section is very cluttered & shares a space with manchester etc. That could be better. Surprised by how many kids clothes it doesn't have. Mens section is well set out but sparse compared to the amount of womens clothes available. Ladies clothes is very well stock but apart from size16+ there is no size separation for 6,8,10 etc. It is seperated into dresses, skirts etc but all sizes up till 14 are all together. So give yourself time If you are particularly looking for ladies clothing. Due to the area, it is street parking and good luck with that lol. There I'd a decent amount of glass & kitchenware if that is what you're after. Service was great by the lady who served me. In regards to pricing, lots of good decent stuff available so pricing reflects that, which kind of makes me believe they send worse condition clothing to stores further out from inner city Brisbane. Try convince me they don't. Seeing what available here & what I've seen or stores I frequent in OUTER Brisbane

This is not really a cheap or affordable Vinnies if that's what you're after, they do however have a great selection of fashion, accessories and shoes though. Also some furniture pieces and household brick a brack. They have big bins outside for donations too.
