Been to this store 4 separate times within trading hours and it’s been shut
I used to stop here often and find nice bits and pieces. Whether it be clothes, shoes, homewarks, brica brac or jewellery there was usually something reasonably priced. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case. The staff/volunteers are still lovely. Some but very few things are reasonably priced. Anything the slightest bit interesting is priced high. Not a place for the old op shop charm.
I’ve shopped in this Vinnies quite a few times as a new young family in the country we are doing are best to make our daughter feel at home. we found a beautiful rocking horse for my 1 year old which I bought and as I don’t drive asked them to keep hold of it and a few other items until my partner could get there (a few hours later). Nobody wanted to help me, regarded me as an inconvenience and called me three times to ask when I was picking it up. No politness. If you’re aware of the shop set up there is a large back area to which they keep the donations. Nothing was in the way. This is a CHARITY, for people in NEED, and this is how they treat their customers? I won’t be shopping here again. There’s plenty of op shops in the area that also have the ability to treat customers with kindness.
Outrageous pricing for DONATED GOODS including kitchen ware, second hand bedding, clothing etc.. I’ve been donating here for years and I first visited in May 2023 to find some cheap camping kitchen items only to find the prices in here are completely ridiculous, when I asked the server to pass on my complaint to management she said I should contact them directly after she admitted she prices things herself and puts higher prices on ‘good quality items’. It happened that everything was half price on the day I went in - the prices are still too high at 50% off. We all donate good quality items for people in need, who can’t afford to buy them new - otherwise we’d sell our unwanted things on marketplace/eBay etc. I’m disappointed and will not be donating here anymore. There’s other great thrift stores around that resell donated items at an affordable price for those that need them. Everything donated is 100% profit, they shouldn’t have high prices because it’s those in need that are paying for it. I hope management sees this and something changes.
Interesting set up. 2 shops side by side, one with clothing & accessories, the other with furniture & household items. Quite ALOT of stock between the 2 shops, both shops had marked down stock outside. On street parking is available
