Why is lifeline charging $100 for something that’s falling apart? You’re supposed to help people who can’t afford these prices and I see furniture priced at $500? I’d rather go on marketplace, at least you know what you’re buying isn’t already falling apart.
prices have gone up way to much here. this place is for low income people who are in need of things. You get the items for free its suppose to be a not-for-profit organization people shouldn't be paying 300$ for a used sofa with stains. also if you invested in a upholstery cleaner and charge people a fee a lot of people would like that
Had a few loads of items the staff came straight out and helped me unload and showed me where to drop items and gave me best times and days for drop offs
Great that this was the only charity shop open however the older guy who was telling us where to put our things could really have some manners when decent people are dropping off very good donations. One woman who had a basketful.of excellent donations for baby was told to just drop it in their container, It'll probably get chucked out anyway!!
I won't shop here anymore, this use to be a good place to pick up a bargain and you knew your money was going to a good cause. Most of the items now are new, very little is second hand. Their prices are the same as a retail store. Very sad.
