This little op shop is beautifully curated and the service is super friendly 😊
15mins until closing I walked in and I was right next to two workers putting clothes away looking through the racks and one tells the other “can’t believe people are walking in this late” I was always taught to never make a customer rushed, we are not their to drag your day out and it doesn’t take much to be polite in reminding people you may be closing soon, plus there was still 15 mins until closing time? Sounds to me you may not like your job What was worse was finding a top I had donated and it was priced high will a missing button and pulls in the fabric!! I had not originally paid that much at all and it doesn’t feel good knowing something you donated is getting priced that high for a thrift store
Came in to drop some good clothes off at 12.50 on a Saturday. Sign on the door says open, other customers still inside. Lady at reception immediately tells me I’ll have to come back another day as they’re closed, despite clearly being open. Very rude and abrupt. Shame.
Good selection of 'stuff'. I don't, however, understand some of the pricing, particularly on clothing - these items, regardless of whether they have a designer tag, or not, are generously gifted to the Charity.
Clean and well organised store as always been going to this store since i was a young child but now as an adult it's become less and less of a stop for me as the pricing it ridiculous. Some items in there in secondhand condition is more expensive then said items are to buy brand new from the stores they originally came from. People shop at op shops for a bargain and to support charity. That's why stock often sits for a long time in op shops these days, such a shame. I'll stick with Animal Welfare and Maggie's Thrift they are the only true op shops these days offering cheap reasonable pricing and great deals often like fill a bag for $5 or only ask 50c for kids clothing regardless if it's brand new with the tags or truly secondhand.
