Absolutely loved my experience with the Salvos Tarneit store! I ordered these tooth curl holders and received them within just 2 days — super fast delivery. Editing a previous 2 star review under an alt account as this last visit was a business transaction I made. Prices for men's clothing has dropped from $7-$9 to $6-$7 depending on the brand, size and the pricer on the day. Had plenty of clothing in my size yet far more options on the low size mens. Electrical areas seem to be sparse in some parts yet aren't too bad. The books have done me great again where I've picked up 6 books at $4 a piece. Most books are $4 a piece and a handful are starting to go for $5 a piece but they're jarring examples. On the other hand, there were some books that were supposed to be priced at $4 that are going for $3. I reckon there has been new pricers in this store where the prices across the board are going down and quality is going up though variety can be sparse at times due to a very high turnover of quality stock. The toys and games seemed to be priced like most other Salvos Stores pricing in the area, $5.00-$7.00 for new and sealed generic puzzles which is how they're priced further south (maybe for a tad more). The best bit is that they had two decent PS3 games that are priced at a low of $1.00 each (goes for up to 10x at Cash Converters), otherwise the average title goes for $5 each.

Great variety of clothing and a solid warehouse-style set up. Pricing is noticeably cheap compared to other oppies in the area and the staff are friendly. This is a standout Salvos store and the best op shop in the area by a country mile. Keep it up team!

A Heartwarming Experience at Salvation Army Tarneit. After eagerly anticipating the opening of Salvation Army Tarneit, my partner and I finally had the chance to visit over the weekend, and it was truly an experience filled with warmth and gratitude. As an organisation that relies on the generosity of donors, The Salvation Army's mission is well-known, and their thrift stores play a vital role in funding rehabilitation programs through the sale of donated items. We were pleasantly surprised by the wide range of previously loved clothing available, spanning from casual to evening and corporate wear. I found a perfect jacket for work, while my partner discovered some great t-shirts for our upcoming trip to Bali. The store's size was impressive, offering not only clothing but also toys, books, Manchester, furniture, and crockery. We couldn't resist leaving without each finding a new mug, and I fell in love with a particularly adorable puppy mug. The experience left us feeling grateful for the opportunity to support such a noble cause through our donations, volunteering, and purchasing of preloved items. Salvation Army Tarneit is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for quality items while contributing to a meaningful cause.
