Three hostile and aggressive staff members. I both shop at op shops and donate as well. Based on this experience I no longer support Hospice and will be donating elsewhere - there are plenty of other charities to support. Was closely trailed around the store by a staff member to the point of hostility. When I became uncomfortable I politely asked for some space - the staff member went to the till and aggressively started texting on her phone and looking at me. Really unpleasant experience. When it comes time to sort my home and my parents home, nothing will be going to Hospice. Staff terrible ambassadors for the Charity.
staff is extremely rude. I kept getting stared at by the workers and was being trailed around the store by them when i had nothing in my hands. The older black woman who works there is not nice. I was literally inside this store for 5 mins and she was giving me so much attitude and was pointing at me and telling the other worker in the store to keep an eye on me when i was just shopping like everybody else. The workers were definitely being racist towards me because my friend who I was with got treated normally. I would definitely not recommend to go here there are so many other good hospice shops around auckland and I hope that woman gets fired
Bought some snow shoes from here. It was nice and cheap. Heaps of second-hand stuff around. Customer service was nice. Great little place to find bargains.
UNFRIENDLY and RUDE staffs here. An older white woman at the counter (tall, with glasses, short curly blonde hair) was shockingly rude and condescending. During check out, she kept giving me a cold, annoyed look, clearly looking down on me. She also CUT ME OFF mid-question with a dismissive “yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,” nodding sarcastically with a slightly irritated expression which was extremely RUDE!!!! Her unprofessional attitude made it clear that she doesn't know how to uphold basic customer service in a retail work environment. If this is how they treat customers, I won’t be back and will be spreading the word to others!
The hospice shop in a very expansive location. Most of the items are over priced or cost more than other hospice shop. This bike worth about $40 on trademe and you are selling for $150. A brand new set of glass cups new for $39 and you sell $36…… I appreciate all money goes to charity but…,, rather not say
