Kindness is here. This op shop, as are many others, is staffed by volunteers. If there are no volunteers available the store may be closed, closed early or at times not open at all. When I want to donate I phone first to find out how to support them.
Brotherhood of St. Lawrence in Eltham may be a small store, but it’s packed with fantastic finds! Every time I visit, I’m amazed by the quality and variety of items available. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Despite the store's size, it’s well-organized and easy to browse through. If you’re after great bargains and a lovely atmosphere, this is the place to go!
Love this op shop and the people who staff it. People in the comments are disappointed around closure hours and random days bring closed. This is due to overall staff shortages, as it's hard to maintain regular hours with only volunteer staff. I wouldn't be too hard on them; they are lovely people doing the best they can.
They pack a lot into a small space. Staff very friendly and helpful. Decent amount of babywear for such a small store but it’s all mixed up together in a crate and hard to look through. I’ve found the store is not always open during the advertised times, sometimes closes early.
Small but great op shop. Staff always happy and have a smile. It's also very reasonably priced. Well worth checking out regularly as there is always heaps of new stuff every few days.
