I can recommend the sub shop for getting some good deals. It does have nice items. They are usually fairly priced. On the higher end of fairly priced. Goes with the location, perhaps? I was dropping in and get a bánh mì across the road and then hope that I can find some new item for myself or a friend here.

One of the best oppys around! Have been coming here for years, in the past have bought a few wonderful bits and pieces that I love. It’s always well priced, beautifully curated, and the staff and volunteers are awesome. Super helpful and friendly. Just picked up a winter jacket for $12! If you’re around, drop past and say ho to the charming Steve and team.

Do not shop at this horrendous store. It is managed by a young lady who is so rude and so arrogant. I was hesitant to post this for quite some time, but decided to share my experience. I walked past the store on a day that they are usually open and saw that they were closed (which they do often). I was disappointed because they had some lovely hats in the front window that i wanted to buy. I realised that I would have to come again the next day. I was worried that the hats would sell quickly, so when the store opened first thing in the morning the following day, I called and spoke to the manager. I told her I had come past the day before and were closed, to which she snapped "we had a staff member with COVID", OK fine not a problem. I requested she put the hats on hold for me as I could not drive to the store at 10am as I have a toddler and newborn baby. I told her I will be at the store at around midday. She rudely told me it was first in first served. Like are you serious? You are an op shop for gods sake not some boutique!! What an appalling way to treat your customers, I have to drive 1 hour one way to get to ivanhoe. No consideration whatsoever. I told her I didn't want to drive 2 hours both ways only for the hats to be sold and I have 2 kids in tow, she couldn't care less and said that that was the policy. Absolutely despicable. On another occasion, I walked into the shop and saw some hats again, and I pointed to a hat I wanted to buy which was next to a mannequin that had a bridal hat on it She came out and said "that hat was donated to us by a customer and isnt for sale" . Then an employee in the store told her "no that hat is for sale, she is asking about the hat with the sequins, not the bridal hat". She perfectly knew which hat i wanted to buy she was just being rude and next time, Label your items as "not for sale". The manager would do good to smile yo customers and stop behaving like she manages a louis vuitton store.
