This shop makes my heart sad. The pricing is insane- like cooked. It makes me sad because if they actually priced things reasonably then would make so much money for the initiatives that matter. The stock is beautiful but I left empty handed. If the prices were reasonable I would have happily spent hundreds of dollars in this store. This store prices on brand not quality of the item. They don’t know their ‘old’ dated tags of a brand and also don’t know their lower brand stuff either. What they had on the designer rack was kind of funny to be honest. $120 on some pants worth barely $60 new. Some of the items were beautiful but prices ridiculously high (almost RRP). Given the location of the store and the pricing I have no idea how it survives! Very sad experience for a store with so much stock and potential. Sad for the vinnies community too.
Was on holiday recently and popped in here amongst others in the area, browsing through the dresses,$300 for a green cotton boho dress and $450 for an ugly mikasa 45 piece dinner set complete with cutlery scratches...this would have to be some of the most obscene pricing for an op shop I've ever seen.
I love the range at the store! I always end up buying something when I visit. I keep an eye out for the coloured ticket sales! When one is on the items are half price so great to grab a bargain! The staff are lovely! 😊 Update 2/5/26 - They've sorted quite a few women's clothing sections by size! 🥳 Also to one of the previous reviewers in regards to electronics. I've bought electronics here and all of them have test and tag stickers, they wrote down the tag details and gave me an info leaflet. So I hope this gives you some peace of mind. 💡
This op shop offers a great variety of vintage clothing alongside more basic brands, as well as a solid selection of furniture and crockery. It’s a fun place to browse, especially if you enjoy unique finds. The main downside for me is the pricing. In a time when the cost of living is already high, op shops should remain accessible and affordable for everyone. Many items are priced between $20–$80, which feels excessive, particularly when fast fashion pieces are marked at higher prices. I would encourage Vinnies higher management to review the pricing at this location to ensure it aligns with the purpose and accessibility of an op shop.
One star for the wider team of volunteers and the few good finds to be had. However, yesterday I received the worst customer service in this store. The elderly woman who served me was disgustingly rude and confrontational for no reason. Spoke to me like crap, didn’t bother to apologise when she was called out for it or for staring at me with a dirty look on her face instead of completing my purchase. Just disgusting. I had just donated 2 big bags full of clothes too, some brand new with tags on. Sadly, I may indeed be donating & shopping elsewhere next time. Tell your volunteer to do better. It is a Christian charity after all.
