Absolutely lovely staff, verry sweet and friendly. Fabrics well priced, lots of lace, ribbons, buttons, zippers, clasps, and so many other things to choose from, all pretty cheap. Got a bunch of fabric for super cheap and will definitely be coming back 😊

I visited the Sewing Lair desperately seeking some yarn to finish my crochet project as I had discovered that the yarn I was using has been discontinued. The ladies at The Sewing Lair were very helpful and understood my dilemma. I was lucky to find a matching coloured yarn thanks to the amazing choices available. I am very grateful.

This place is great. It is tucked away at the back of a fast food place out the front but it is well-worth sniffing out The staff there are the absolute best 😃 They really bend over backwards to do all they can for you, and that is very refreshing as it is memorable How kind the store-staff are I did hear one customer complaining that she could not buy cotton fabric, the answer I thought I heard was that they sell that on the Internet Everyone was happy in the sewing lair I wanted small stuff, they let me empty out a tin of oddments and ferret through to find bits and bobs And a lot of it was really old like grandma's which meant the quality was better than modern-day stuff I got everything I wanted and there is a abundance there of anything you could want for any sewing or craft projects I recommend the Sewing Lair highly 🙂 There is plenty of parking and it is very accessible for wheelchairs ♿️

Really interesting place if you're a sewer. Great idea to reduce landfill and provide a cheaper alternative to buying fabric and sewing items. They also have scrapbooking items and knotting/ crocheting items. Pricing seems reasonable although limited for time so didn't have a huge opportunity to look. Probably most disappointing is that any cotton type material apparently goes straight to their on line store. Which is disappointing if you prefer to look and touch what you want to purchase. And limits what you can look through in the bricks & mortar store.
