Nicely furnished but quantity over quality

Ho hum. The opening day had me expecting a really good store, but since then I’ve gone in roughly 10 times to shop. It just seems boring, no flair for making things feel exciting or fresh. Some things exceptionally overpriced, yet other categories what I’d expect at an opshop. Volunteers have seemed friendly enough, always different ones. Atmosphere is like a well used cleaning wipe. Good for basic stuff if you are moving out of home. I was out the back of the building looking to donate stuff and saw their electrical and metal recycling cage and saw an intact antique English silver plate teapot, some interesting silver plate trays, perfectly serviceable cutlery and other bits and bobs going to get recycled that would have done Vinnies better financially to have been sold in the shop. Bit sad, not going to donate there now. I’ll try again in about few months.

Well organised Vinnies (as expected base on other stores) and well priced ie actual op shop pricing. Nice volunteers as well. Highly recommend.
