Really friendly and helpful staff, and a great range of items, from clothes to books and furniture items. The book section is so well stocked, and I found plenty of great reads.
A staff member (not sure of name but they had blonde curly hair) was rude to an elderly man who came in to ask whether he could donate some suitcases. The man had wheeled the 2 or 3 suitcases into the shop to show the staff member, and the staff member repeatedly and quite loudly (in the main part of the store) told him they were not appropriate because ‘we respect our customers and these are not in good enough condition’. The man was quiet, said he understood, and was ready to leave with the suitcases, however, the staff member kept repeating their answer and then told him he would need to throw the suitcases out in hard rubbish. Myself and others I was with found this rude, hostile, and potentially embarrassing for the man, who was trying to do the right thing by checking before donating. I have not given a lower rating because I have never experienced any issues with other staff members at this store.
often has a good range, but agree with other reviews is one of the priciest Salvos i’ve ever been to. i’m saying that, they do have a fair range of quite designer options due to the area. i also witnessed a few customer interactions with worker Alicia today that left me a tad uncomfortable. perhaps should be in a role less customer-facing.
This is a very clean op shop with a huge arrange of quality items. All nicely set out and prices were reasonable. Staff were very friendly to.
Yes this Op Shop is overpriced however it is a good place to get second hand books and I purchased several this morning. Nice decorative items that unfortunately not for sale, owned by store. What? And yes while the bookcases are good and tidy, other areas are a mess. 11.8 called in to have browse and of course walked out with books.
