A charming op shop with lovely stock. Light and bright. The prices aren't the lowest but mostly seem fair. The staff member I interacted with today (Mary Ann 😘) was delightful.
This is our family's favourite local charity shop. Can you believe op shops have visual merchandisers and stylists? Carla designs fabulous windows and we have bought many special pieces after spotting them there. Today, we even had a personal styling session. Everyone is friendly at this store. Secondhand and vintage never looked so good, and shopping here helps the Family Life charity support people who need it.
Not a big Op Shop but have a good selection of books, clothing, kitchenware etc. They obviously employ a merchandiser as window displays and in-store vignettes a definite step up from the majority of Op Shops. However if you see something you like in the window buy it, because if you come back later it will probably be gone! 7.11. Great to be back browsing after lockdown!! 23.5 always good to pop in to see what's there and unbelievably saw 4 small prints to go above pelmet which I had been keeping eye out for. 2 by Turner which will face existing prints I have by Turner, perfect. Also a man walked in with a giant carrot!!! Yes a giant paper mache carrot painted bright orange and with nice shiny finish. No one said anything so I had to say, well that begs the question. The man replied my landlord doesn't let me keep a dog. Of course, so I responded at least you don't have to clean up after your carrot!! 16.1 just dropped off some glasses, shoes and books but at 9am. Note place actually doesn't open til 9.15am. Thank you Family Life for opening up for me. 30.1 so Family Life is moving up the road. 11.8 just in to have browse.
Love the new store! It smells fresh - the volunteers tell me they check and steam every item of clothing before placing it on sale! Not bargain prices but quality items instead.
I love browsing this shop. Yes, it is smaller than other similar shops in the area though it has recently moved into larger airier premises, but it is beautifully laid out and I have made some great purchases there. Very reasonably priced too. Amongst my purchases was a lovely brand name dress with pockets I also started fishkeeping as I found a fish tank with all the accessories. I recommend!
