Shades of Pale is the most breathtaking, beautiful and unique store... not only did I find gorgeous peices for my home, Bella & her team are the warmest and kindest humans!! 🫶 Thank you so much for your impeccable customer service and amazing taste, you helped me find my decorative and one off peices that I absolutely adore. We have been customers of Shades of Pale since it was started by Bella's mother Gaynor in Hunters Hill. We remained keen customers in Northbridge and now in Leichhardt. Bella has expanded her mother's vision for the store and retained the same staff through the changes in location. The new store is a delight, showcasing many desirable pieces of antique European furniture and accessories. But Bella and her team are as kind to you whether buying extensively or simply purchasing one of their candles. Definitely a 5 star customer experience.
As a customer for over 15 years, my experience at Shades of Pale has been nothing but outstanding! To say the constant level of support, professionalism & outstanding service has been the best I’ve ever experienced over the years, as a very fussy customer, would be an understatement!!! Going into our first home renovation, over15 years ago, I was introduced by a friend to Shades of Pale, & have never looked back! The most stunning, exquisite, one-of-a-kind pieces, throughout this stunning SOP store! Now into our second home renovation my husband & I couldn’t imagine going through it without the support of Bella & her amazing team!!! As a family we have loved & enjoyed every minute of watching & getting updates on Bella’s’ overseas trips to source all of her exquisite pieces, & have been beyond impressed with how many customers travel from all over Australia to visit & experience this one-of-a-kind store! Shades of Pale is truly an experience, as well as being one of Sydneys most exquisite furniture stores.
Warmth, love, elegance, style and inspiration are the feeling you leave with every time you visit this beautiful gem - a Mecca for all the beauty the antiquities of France and more broadly Europe have to offer. The pieces are unique and the sensibility, fine but not precious. Absolutely stunning. And this is even before you’ve met the gorgeous Bella and the team which includes the angel “Bash the lab ofcourse. The beautiful antique French cabinet I bought, is just beautiful and timeless.
What an absolute gorgeous find! Shades of pale is one of those shops you want to keep going back to. There is always something new and exquisite and unique to find to add to your home. The customer service is amazing and Bella is so attentive from the moment you walk in the door though to gift wrapping your purchases (excluding large furniture items). Although I prefer to be left alone when browsing, Bella does that while also making you feel welcome.
