My favourite store for furniture and clothes. Some really good bargains and the staff are excellent!

Terrible terrible terrible customer service from Chantell. How is she even allowed to serve customers is beyond my understanding. She is so rude, I have never ever experienced such bad customer service. I’d rate her less, if I could.

My experience at the Windsor Gardens Salvos was unfortunately not very positive. The manager appeared to be closely following customers around the store, which made the shopping experience feel quite uncomfortable. The store also seemed fairly untidy and cluttered during my visit, which made it harder to browse through items. I do appreciate the work that Salvos stores do for the community, and the volunteers who give their time, but the overall atmosphere in this store didn’t feel very welcoming.

I have just come from this Salvos 30 minutes ago and was utterly disappointed by the way one of the male employees/staff treated my 6 year old son. Come to shop, so told my boy to seat on the donated chairs, play his game while l browsed. Then come back to look for him as l headed to the counter, he was not there, just this make staff member dusting the chair my son was on, l asked him where my son was, he said that his somewhere on the shop floor, l start calling out for my son who comes running, asked him why he moved, he then tells me that this man asked him to move!!😡😡😡 why??… he says l don’t know!! Why was he dusting the chair that my son was sitting on, there is soo many other things he could have been dusting or cleaning in the shop. He dint care that his asking a child to get up, not thinking where is this child going or there parent was,HE WAS such an IGNORANT MAN😡 and that really pissed me off. I did tell the lovely lady who served me at checkout about this and hope he gets some sort of training on how to handle kids in the future. My son would not have moved untill finished the shop, him making him move, could have lead him to go anywhere looking for me and this store being on a busy road!!😒

I went to donate stuff(not crap) in the first week of the new year and a woman with short hair and glasses said they were not taking any donations until sometime next week. I asked, so when do you guys accept donations again? She said, we don’t accept donations. I was extremely confused and asked the same question, and she realized she had answered the question wrong and corrected herself :” Oh, sometime next week.” The whole conversation was cold and she showed zero interest in appreciating what people had brought to the store, as if they were doing the customers a huge favour. Guys, don’t waste your time and petrol, just throw things in your bins. If they couldn’t care less, why would you even care???
