Lifeline Shop Colac

So much good stuff in here and friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. A lot of nice furniture in the back area. The area for books, CDs and DVDs is huge with a lot of good stuff. They even have skis, camping gear and sporting equipment. Definitely worth a visit!

I was in store and I left my bag instore I tried ringing and no-one picks up. I am pleased with the result and the staff members reaching out to assist me. IMy bag was found and it's truly appreciated. I would recommend this store and the good work it does within the community. Thank you you again to Linda for reaching out

A wonderful shop supporting a vital cause. The Lifeline Shop on Murray Street Colac is more than just a shop —it’s a place that represents hope and care in Colac. It’s always welcoming and well presented, with great bargains and unique finds. The volunteers are friendly and helpful, and it feels good knowing every purchase supports a vital community service. Shopping here feels good not just because of the bargains, but also because every purchase goes toward supporting Lifeline’s vital crisis support services.

We always enjoy visiting this particular op shop when in town. The staff are helpful and the book selection is excellent. I can't fault the staff, and unlike another critical reviewer, these are people who volunteer and have to sort through all the stuff others can't be bothered sorting out for themselves. They aren't your servants and there's no need for ageism to describe who you have a problem with. Maybe step in their shoes for some life lessons before commenting.

Does this place actually make any money..! (23rd Sep 24) Old lady behind the counter volunteer or not.. is cold, unresponsive and ungrateful.. couldn't be bothered helping find anything, " I don't know look over there..!" Me: "I have some donations, do you expect them in store.?" Her: "what's in that box.?" Me: "books, new clothes, shoes" Her: "yeah, right.. put them over there..!" END OF CONVERSATION. no thank you, nothing..! * The MAN ⭐⭐⭐⭐ running around, turning lights on, cleaning, wheel binning. AWESOME, EXCELLENT, exactly what customer service should be like.. The store it's self: Messy and Unorganised. Cheap items over priced. BUT LOTS OF ITEMS. Maybe take your time when having a look.
