Good Sammy Clarkson Op Shop

Came to shop at your store yesterday, was disappointed to see your notice on the door that all backpacks must be left at the desk. (Has it really come to this) I asked the staff member if I had to do this, as my backpack is very small and I don't think I would get a pair of socks in there with all my other items. After a good look I was allowed to keep it. Although I knew I was being watch especially when I was looking at the toys & books. There was only myself and one other person in there at the time. In the end I felt very uncomfortable and left. The toys/plush I was looking at I didn't buy due to the permanent black pen used to price them, which was written on the plush label and bottom or side of toys. As I was looking for gifts this would be very unsuitable. If you could look at a different way to price your items without writing on them it would be appreciated.

I absolutely love this second-hand store. The store is clean, well-organised and surprisingly affordable. I’ve found everything from beautiful clothing to homewares in fantastic condition. The staff are friendly and welcoming which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend popping in.

Most disgusting experience at this op shop. I’ve been in here twice with my son to come and pick a toy. Both times the same lady actively sought us out to tell us off for looking through the toys. This time we pulled a basket out to look through the guns, she came straight over and put it back saying nothing was allowed on the floor - how are we supposed to look through them to choose one? I told her this and she then asked us to leave this store. Do not support this op shop, rude and unwelcoming.

Being an avid op shopper I was happy to be taken to an op shop I hadn’t been to before. I spotted some pink storage boxes however my friend told me she was sure the price was above new price. Whilst my friend researched the new price I continued to look for other items. The woman serving was very abrupt and told my friend she would not be reducing the price of the storage boxes despite them being $1 cheaper new at Kmart. Her response was “Go to Kmart then”. I had other items totalling over $20. I asked again for a slight discount and it was denied. The woman was rude and abrupt. The manager had approached by this stage and my friend and I enquired why no discounts were offered at this op shop despite all other op shops offering discount, especially on multiple items. The manager and other staff member were very non receptive and the only response given was “we sometimes give discount to some customers but not when we have sold those at that price”. I would never shop here again based on attitude and lack of friendliness of staff regardless of whether discount was offered.

Horrible staff member here today, my 6 year old with his das were looking at toys, a female staff member with a horrible attitude, tone and expression said he cant touch the toys and couldn't even stand at the toys as she has to tidy. Here attitude was horrible to a little child who just walked into the shop with his parents, I wouldnt want this woman to be working with my family member with a disability if this is the type of attitude she displays. Will continue to go to the butler store people up there are much nicer, and always ask nicely for kids to keep the area tidy, and not snap
