Louise is so lovely! All staff members are lovely, the songs and great and their stock is vast. I have been able to pick up a few grails!
Lady at the counter is always extremely rude. And I asked a lady where the change rooms were and she said over there and rolled her eyes. Great stuff- but overpriced! 300 dollars for a purple rain record?? 😳😂🤪🤪🤪and it’s not even old.
Has been my go to for a long time but recently a rude woman has really put a dampener on the experience. Today she was serving at the counter. Only way to explain her demeanour is rude, impatient, even snarky when I asked a most simple question. I was raised in an old fashioned way, I say hello, I smile, I say thank you .. I expect the same in return!
Visited the local Morayfield and sadly have to report a staff member being very rude to customers as she was filling the shelves. She asked myself and others to move their things out of her way. Or kicked our orange carts as she tried to clear her way! This resulted in one other customer making a comment. There was a special needs gentleman also asked to move. If I saw her name I would have asked to speak to management. This is not a good reflection on the beautiful staff that l usually see there. As a customer this made me want to leave. As she was stomping around! She sadly didn’t want to be there.
Conflicted review- the store is wonderfully stocked and full, but the pricing really lets the store down. It’s beyond expensive for a thrift store- especially for clothing that is over ten years old and electronics that are missing parts. I did a few comparisons in store yesterday and some items are priced beyond what they are advertised brand new. (vinyl pop toys, lamps, homewares). I also don’t understand why the store has so many “displays” set up with donated items that “cant be sold”. I wanted to buy a stuffed dog toy for my son who collects Australian Animals and was told no.
