Red Cross Shop North Perth

If I had $200 to spend on a "vintage" skirt I wouldn't go to op shops. The smallest price I saw was for a beanie $25. Unbelievable...

Absolutely criminal prices. Came back hoping to see a change. Especially after so many bad reviews on here. But no still the same insane prices on DONATED items. Great work creating a class gap in a place that is supposed help with the ever growing problem.

I was genuinely surprised by the pricing at this op shop. I appreciate that the proceeds support a charitable cause, and I understand that some donated items may be of higher quality or from well-known brands. However, the pricing seemed significantly higher than what I've seen at other charity stores. For example, I found a Trenery cardigan priced at $70. While Trenery is a reputable brand and can be expensive when purchased new, it is still a mainstream retail brand rather than a luxury designer label. To put this into perspective, just a week earlier I purchased a pair of Trenery pants from another charity store for $9. Throughout the store, I noticed numerous items that appeared to be priced well above what many op-shop shoppers would reasonably expect to pay. Basic button-up shirts were marked at up to $180, long coats started around $60, and a pair of unbranded black heels was priced at $50. I fully support charity organisations raising funds for important causes, but part of the value of op shops is providing affordable and accessible second-hand clothing to the community. When prices approach or exceed what people might pay elsewhere for similar items, it raises questions about how items are being valued and whether the pricing is aligned with the expectations of most shoppers. I'd be interested to understand the pricing process, as the current approach felt difficult to justify when compared with other charity retailers.

Great opportunity shop for high end clothes. Expect to spend more though and have an idea what brands are worth. Lots of fast fashion brands mixed in for higher prices than other red Cross shops

Extremely pricey for an op shop, items 2 times the price of most others in various sections if not more. Basic items that are common and the decent ones are closer to retail pricing than op shop $7 for a dirty Avanti steel cup. Broken glass on the ground near the window at the glassware shelves. Not at all appealing even if it looks like a wonderful store first up.
