Salvos Stores Murwillumbah

I used to love Salvos, the staff is very nice. the way everything is spaced out is amazing as well, However these new clothing prices are insane and shameful, obviously the higher quality clothes can go up to 30 dollars, That is perfectly fine. but most of the things in there go up to 10-20 dollars even though most of it is low quality. The only thing worth going in there for is furniture now. Salvos is supposed to be a thrift store, please be more reasonable with your prices, You could go to Kmart and buy about five new higher quality things instead of going to salvos for the same amount of money. that is not any good.

The Donation Pick up service men that came out to Pottsville were just fantastic. They were so helpful, went out of their way and above and beyond. Thank you so much! Shay and Al were their names I think!

This store is incredible! It’s filled with books, DVDs, cassettes, and videotapes, all neatly organized—books are even sorted alphabetically by first name. You can often find amazing bargains on furniture, clothes, and household items. The kids’ section is always stocked, and the atmosphere is fantastic with great music playing and friendly staff. New goods arrive every week, making Fridays the best day to visit. I’ve had the pleasure of volunteering here, and in just one month, I’ve met some of the kindest people in Murwillumbah. A huge shoutout to Peter, Maddy, Candace, and the entire team for their hard work and dedication in making this store what it is today. I’ve made lifelong friends here, and I’ve met customers with the most fascinating stories. Through small acts of kindness, we share the compassion that the world needs to heal. This is exactly what the Salvation Army is all about—it’s not just an op shop, it’s a community, a second home to me. Though I’m moving to another state, I’ll definitely be back, simply because I love this place so much. The vibe here is something special, and I’m so proud to have been part of it.

I've always found the staff at this store to be polite helpful and friendly , the store is always tidy and clean . They have a wide range of second hand clothes, furniture and brand new items such as cleaning supplies at more than reasonable prices .They did have a colour coding system on the clothing that related to shelf life and price but I am not sure if they still have it. One criticism of do have of the Murwillumbah store is the books are not in any order which makes it very time consuming to look for a pacific title.
