Terrific place for all things second hand and pre-loved. Easy donation and drop-off process at the back of the store with two (maybe three?) large containers in which to drop off items. Can get very busy there, and parking can be tight. You get a generous little voucher for a certain percentage off for donations. Innate, the store is huge with diverse range of items, from clothes and books, to furniture and audio/video items.
Oh my goodness what a beautiful store! My husband and I went shopping and found the most amazing antiques. Excellent customer service from Rose! Will definatley be back!
Savers has become ridiculously expensive, particularly for cheaper brands like Anko ( Kmart), Avella ( Big W) ,ed-it-ed ( Best and Less) and other basic brands. $10.49 is the regular price for a t-shirt, $13.49 and $15.49 for basic shirts. Often the prices are higher than as new retail.
All Savers stores have good layouts and are well maintained. Staff/volunteers are helpful. Often the designated parking spots are full so be prepared to find alternate parking. Carpark is one way traffic but people become confused because of the entrance for the donation drop off point so you will encounter people driving the wrong way.
Savers is a mega warehouse. Mostly clothes and homewares, some furniture and loads of books. Something for everyone. Drive up donations or park in Ringwood square.
