Vinnies Deception Bay

Grreat place to get yourself second hand or much loved items eg dress, shoe, kitchen utensils, shirts, pants, bric a brac, adult and kids apparels at a very affordable price. Not only can you get yourself things you need for yourself but you are also helping other people who are on absolute need of help and assistance be it shelter, food and clothings. So drop by Vinnies and be amazed of what they offer.

Way Too overpriced. It’s meant to be a charity shop but sadly things are priced way to high and none of the clothes are in size order. Some nice furniture was their only good thing.

Vinnies, please put your clothing in sizes. This whole idea of lumping clothing together regardless of size, is annoying. Everyone wants to do things quickly, it's why we have apps on our phone. I can't be bothered wading through a rack of 50 items in the hope that I find on my size. As nice as she was, your manager tried to convince me kmart sells their clothing like this. They don't. Their sizing is on each individual coat hanger. And you just look for the coathanger of your size. This is a large store. Very large clothing section. They have a variety of everything. Homewares, kitchenware decorator items. Plenty of accessories available as well Plenty of parking. Pricing is all over the shop. While I can understand pricing varies, especially while you are selling brand new stock, the prices of some things just aren't right.

This shop is beautifully presented. I love how the sizing is not grouped together by sizing but by colour. The staff are wonderful and they have such a wide variety of items. All the furniture although second hand is in pretty good condition

Beautiful shop but prices are over priced for a opp shop. Even when you find a fault with product they will not reduce on the item. Isn’t it better to reduce the item and have a sale rather than lose the sale as we know it’s for charity. I felt the woman who served me wanted to make more money for vinnies. Some items were from millers and there the same price as the original store. I found a hair clip that I already bought at a newsagent for the same price as brand new. When I mentioned to Tammy at the counter as the prices were overpriced her answer was just ( thank you for the feedback) that was it. I asked her who puts the prices on and her answer was that the store does. Another thing is there racks are so crammed that you can’t even move them along to see item and size. Bring back Vinnies at Redcliffe as the prices were fair and the woman there was kind and respectful. I’m only on one wage and find it difficult to afford these prices. I won’t be returning and I’ll tell my friends my story .
