Lifeline Shop- Mt Gambier

One star given due to being ripped off. I asked the female manager how much an item was that didn't have a price tag. She said $10.00. After I'd tried it on, and decided to buy it, she then told me it was $20.00. I told her that she had just quoted me $10.00, to which she said nothing, only repeating that the price was $20.00. Again, I mentioned she had told me $10.00 to begin with, however she wasn't having a bar of it and reiterated that the price was now $20.00. The price was not a problem, had it been marked at $20.00 to begin with I would have bought it. It was the principal that she stated one thing and then went back on it. (Unless of course she had a memory blank and forgot what she had said, ..but I highly doubt this as the whole incident took place within 5 minutes). Disappointed. Won't go back there again.

Clean and tidy shop with freindly staff

Had some good quality clothing. Nice selection

Over priced. More expensive than purchasing new from retail outlets. Staff are unable to do much as manager sets the prices.
