Simply calling the Red Cross Op Shop in Belmore an 'Op Shop' doesn't tell the full story. This place is equally, and perhaps just as, if not more importantly, a make-shift drop-in / community centre. It is the heart and centre of the suburb. The volunteers are a sheer delight. Their kindness, generosity and friendliness go beyond what one generally encounters in a suburban op shop. Highly recommend! Oh, and their stock is pretty good too. (More so now that I have donated a few bags full of clothes ;) )
Really lovely op shop with the most incredible and kind staff. One of my faves, I travel an hour to visit and always find amazing things and have a great experience :)
Really cute lil store. The staff were lovely and helpful and was so nice to hear them all sitting around and chatting. It is cash only though, but there are two ATMs within 5 mins walk.
