Sadly, it felt out of touch with the purpose of an op shop. Pricing appears to be based on what items might cost new, rather than recognising that many people shop at op shops to get by, to provide for their families, or to choose second-hand for affordability and sustainability. There were so many items I would have loved to purchase, but the pricing made that impossible. While this op shop is in a “wealthy” area and staff may be privileged, I’d like management to consider families doing it tough and who may need to shop at places like this simply to give their kids a Christmas present, clothes on their back, etc.
I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience. Unfortunately, I was not happy with how the store manager handled things during my visit. I found the attitude to be unhelpful and dismissive, and my concerns were not taken seriously. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and understanding, but that wasn’t the case here. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps improve customer service in the future.
Good shop! I bought a pair of tennis rockets for$20 and I was really happy with them. The prices are reasonable and I feel good when buying stuff from here…
Gorgeous boutique opshop that specialises in children’s clothes and toys, ladies wear and bric a brack. Also has a cute laneway plant nursery.
