Salvos Stores Camberwell is a must-visit if you’re doing an op shop run in the area especially since it’s right next to the RSPCA op shop, making it easy to hit both in one go. Inside, it’s packed with a huge range of pre-loved finds. There are racks and racks of clothing, from casual basics to standout vintage and branded pieces if you’re willing to dig. You’ll also find shelves of homewares, glassware, kitchen items, books, CDs, and random quirky bits that make op shopping so fun. It’s the kind of place where you never know what you’ll walk out with, and that’s half the appeal. One of the best parts is the coloured tag sales, there are often half price items if you keep an eye out, red was this week, which makes finding a bargain even more satisfying. Definitely worth taking your time to browse properly because the good stuff is there if you look. It has that classic op shop treasure hunt feel, with new stock coming in regularly, so every visit feels a little different.

Salvos Camberwell stocks a range of mid to high end fashion in addition to quality homewares and books. There are no bargains to be had here as it seems they throw ordinary donations out. However, its a great place to spot something special. Front desk service is hit and miss. Some days apalling, others friendly young peeps. In short, a great place to shop but not to donate....they simply get too much in one of Melbourne's most affluent burbs.

Although mainly stocked with female fashion, the Salvos opportunity store in Camberwell has a reasonable selection of affordable pre-loved goods including male, female and kid's clothing and shoes, kid's toys, sporting goods, kitchenware, crockery and glassware, artwork, books, DVDs, and some bric-a-brac. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We found parking in the basement carpark under the Aldi store behind the Salvos store the easiest place to park and did a bit of shopping at Aldi while we were there.
