I visited this store a few weeks ago and had a mixed experience. Big store, generally reasonably priced, ended up purchasing a few things. The day I visited there was one staff member who was so lovely! Saw my hands were full and brought me a basket. While in the store, I saw (who I assume) was the manager loudly reprimand this staff member in front of customers (it sounded like he was asking for the price of a binder on behalf of another customer) It felt unnecessary and uncomfortable to witness, especially given how minor the issue seemed. The employee also seemed upset as he said he wouldn’t return. Really disappointing to witness what should have been a private conversation. I hope management can address feedback privately in the future, as it impacts both staff morale and the overall customer experience. That said, I wanted to acknowledge the excellent service from the staff member who assisted me.
Many racks are overflowing with items of clothing, making it a bit difficult to browse through. Perhaps price some items cheaper so they can sell easier, instead of staying on the rack for months on end? A positive is that the volunteer staff are very kind, and the shop is big enough to hold a wide variety of items
Fantastic op shop, so well priced, unlike MOST other op shojs now. Others could learn from this store! And really high quality items, especially the figurines, clothing and nick nacks. I got these 3 sets of antique circa 1930s Canterbury [ Churchill red ] river scene cup and saucer sets, for $2! - worth over $100! See what I mean about great pricing! Definitely be back!
Great op shop. So well organised, tidy and clean. Huge with loads of treasures. Great selection of kids clothes and toys, adult and children’s books and all sorts of other items! Picked up a perfect condition CS Lewis series of books!
December update: this remains my absolute favourite op shop ever! The prices here are really affordable and this place is my go to for books. I've found so many I would have spent $16+ online to get a copy of. They have a great classics collection and have 50c books every week. I can browse here for hours!
