This Vinnies has always been stacked with gems for as long as I can remember. The prices are GOOD! Cool vintage or designer pieces that you would actually wear were priced a bit higher (like $30-40) but that's totally reasonable in my opinion as some "curated" vintage shops would charge double that. Most of the items are $10-20 and you find such cool things! Spend at least a good hour in there. Staff were friendly. Vinnies NT = my happy place 🌞
Vinnies saved me when I was homeless after being kicked out by my abusive parents. People complaining about prices while they waste money at kmart or amazon, made largely by people who are slaves. Also, the people you see on the shop floor are innocent messengers, they dont make up the rules!!!!! Yet here the people bitching are the ones who hurt those in retail shops. Y'all are cruel.
We visited Newtown King Street for the first time today and enjoyed walking along the strip, checking out the different shops and restaurants. I came across Vinnies—I’d heard of it from an Instagram post earlier today but didn’t realize it was a thrift store. I popped in to check out the prices. They weren’t exactly what I expected, but I’d still consider buying something if I really like it and it fits my budget. I’ll likely come back to have another look, especially for a jacket.
I LIKE LOVE LOVE THE SHOPPING!!!!!!A staf is nice never scary. I am given baskets, i get to look and buy. But i miss the bags, i ask for bag and they never hav none ;( staff is so nice to make me feel better tho, i love them
This isn't my go-to thrift store. I wandered in here with my daughter and was quite surprised on both the prices for the quality of items for sale. We were literally in store for a few minutes then wandered out without buying anything. Go back? No, I don't think so. There are so many other great thrift stores around Sydney with more affordable and realistic prices.
