I recently visited this store, and like others agree prices are high for poor quality items. I don’t mind paying more for an item in good condition. I had found an item, but it had a stain on it, (bleach). I’d asked if the item could be discounted due to the obvious flaw on the front. I was told that ‘I didn’t have to buy it”, on closer inspection the item also had a damaged seam. Despite this the item was $20, the discount was refused by the manager. The lady at the till, said, they wouldn’t sell damaged items, yet there were several on hangers. What I find odd, is the manager would rather throw items out, than offer a discount. Neither the charity or consumer win.
love this vinnies, the people who work here are lovely -but the new lighting is so damn harsh, makes me want to spend as little time as possible in the shop unfortunately rather than having a leisurely browse :(
My absolute favourite op-shop, I have found some beautiful treasures here, reasonable prices, fraction of their worth in most cases. Knowing it all goes towards a fantastic cause makes it even better. Love supporting circular fashion and the circular economy 🌼☀️
I stopped by this Vinnies after having a peek at the one in Katoomba in Blue Mountains. The clothing was overpriced and not really worth its value due to the condition of the piece but that’s just my opinion. But I did managed to pick up a couple of CDs that I have been looking for a while now and I was glad I found them for a very reasonable price of $4 each.
So its was my first time in years visiting (the old vinnies never had anything appealing to me) and it was so cool. I bought 6 items (I has to stop myself). They have a vintage and retro rack with reasobally priced pieces. The designer section is definitely more expensive $20- 150. They have lots of women's clothes as well as men. I definitely recommend but don't think of it as an opshop 😅
