Nice shop with lots of little treasures
Normally find what I'm looking for. Friendly staff.
Loved the layout of this shop with the colour coded hangers for sizing. Hate having to search through to only find it’s not the size for you. Great range of items and pricing not too bad. Good range of books also. Thank you
Impossible to rate THIS Vinnies high enough - obviously well-sorted stock, a friendly buzz and staff helpful, great prices. One of the best Vinnies ever (and sadly they can be few and far between). A MUST VISIT!
Can I firstly say, that the staff are wonderful, helpful & always cheerful & the store is always immaculate & well merchandised. I would like to know at what point did an Op Shop cease to be an Op shop & become almost a full retail store, the prices are so over the top & in many cases you can buy a brand new, same brand shirt on sale for the same price!, $15 for a shirt that has a yellow collar & visibly worn is not right, that is just one example, the glassware & china is way over the top, $100 for a incomplete teaset, $100 for a 3 piece canister set........REALLY, and it continues. I fully understand that this is a charity store, however the overheads would be, rent, electricity & possibly a few other things. The point is, that this is not a Opportunity Shop, it's a retail store & if you are going to charge premium price then the stock needs to reflect that, i.e., spotlessly clean, laundered & ironed etc. I watched a segment on a morning show plugging Vinnies & the great bargains, one of the presenters purchased a Chanel dress for $49! & many other hot bargains.....alas that Chanel dress would have been at least hundreds at the Narooma store, I have been told that the staff cruise the internet to set the prices, that is very inappropriate, I will always support charity however this store needs to re evaluate their pricing & direction.
