Best Uniting Op Shop in town! Super bargains. Tiny room on top of tiny room, this op shop is a blast from the past with amazing prices. Things are well laid out and easy to spot. Don’t expect to find priceless antiques, it’s more basic with it’s offerings. Definitely worth an occasional visit.
I came in today and grabbed some stuff. The ladies behind the counter (Janet and Maureen possibly?) were absolutely wonderful. They were so lovely, and made sure we got the best bargains. Highly reccomend this opshop, they have a great range of clothing and other trinkets.
Bit of a hit-and-miss with this op shop. Depends on who is working I believe. I went in once and found a book I’ve been searching all over for, was super excited. Got to the counter and had a chat to the two ladies working there about the book and they insisted that I take the book for free, I politely declined and paid the full price because this book was priceless to me. Upon returning months later, I purchased 4 paperback books, advertised as “all paperbacks $1” all over the book room. I got to the counter and two different ladies said “oh, these don’t have a price on them. they seem in very good condition, almost brand new, we’ll do $2 each because of it”. I politely pulled them up on how paperbacks were advertised as a dollar and they instantly started giving me an attitude while claiming that they weren’t aware of it. You’d think they’d know the price of a basic paperback book in their op shop…
